There is
A certain pull
A gravity
I cannot escape
I keep trying
To get away
But it keeps
Pulling me back
So here I am
Circling in an orbit
Wondering what
Gives up first
Your pull on me
Or my strength
To go away
Or maybe
We are locked
In this dance
Forever
Your Orbit

I know the feeling…
Aye, it’s a tough one. Both pleasant and not.
is being that way bad or does it do harm or anythg to anyone?? if not~ its not bad!!(or I don’t think it is!)
It depends on if you fall into a comfortable sort of orbit, or if the constant push and pull eventually rips you apart…
when you wrote that what one were u meaning?
Sometimes we fall in love with people that we shouldn’t. Might be because of timing, might be because of situations, but at the end of the day the heart wants what it wants. This poem is about that pull. Your heart pulling you towards something, and you resisting. What happens? You either break free, you crash or you find some balance.
sorry to keep asking you stuff but if you feel in love with the person why is it that you shouldn’t have? which did you do crash? break free? or find balance? also out of those 3 things do you wish it was different?
I don’t mind the questions.
First off, not all of my poems are specific, meaning triggered from a current event, sometimes it is just my observation, past, etc.
As for reasons why you shouldn’t love someone, there are many. Maybe there is a cultural barrier, maybe the other person doesn’t love you back, maybe there is a significant age difference, maybe you or the other person are already married, maybe the other person is abusive, maybe there is distance, maybe your personalities don’t match. We can’t control what we feel, or who we feel them for.
The reality is, contrary to movies and books, love is not always enough.
As for what I have done, in my life I have done all 3, crashed, broken free, and found balance. If I had to pick, balance is my preference, but we don’t always get to pick how things end (or don’t end).
