There is a paradox
Of me believing you
When you said
That you loved me
And me believing
That I can’t be loved
Maybe you love
That parts
That you see
And not the whole me
I’ve seen those parts
And they can’t be loved

Thank you π
My pleasure… π
Maybe it’s not such a paradox… I don’t think believing in love is a mistake.
No, I don’t think it is either. In this particular piece, the paradox is believing someone when they said they love me, but not believing I can be loved. Believing both contradictory ideas is the paradox.
I understand that. I meant that you deserve to be loved… Believing that you can’t be loved is a false fear. We all can and need to be loved. π
